Caroline Malo
Caroline has a passion for all genres of performing arts. Her journey is quite the
unusual one: since her youth, she has studied music (by tackling a doctorate in piano performance at the Faculty of
Music of the University of Montreal), theater (mostly at the École le petit monde des artistes, but also
during numerous stages in Québec as well as overseas), singing (with Gaétane Létourneau and Pierrette Lachance)
and dance (classical and modern).
Not content to remain with a single means of expression, she has attempted for many years to fuse her different
artistic languages into a whole that would transcend the obstacles often associated with conventional schools.
Caroline Malo designs scenic shows for Le Théatre des Marie-Sirènes that she founded in 2002. In June of the same
year, 'Viviane', the first creation of the TMS, won two prizes given by the Association of Certified Gerontologists
of Laval University: best troop project and public prize.
Caroline Malo teaches privately piano and vocal posing to teenagers and adults. She is a specialist in vocal coaching.
For more than 15 years, she has been a rehearsal pianist, a playwright, choreographer, musical arranger, author of
musicals for Le petit monde des artistes. Furthermore, she has been part of the group Triange (voice, piano, cello)
and gives solo performances (piano and voice) for special occasions.
